Chicharon Recipe
Pork skins, cut into 1 inch wide strips or squares.
1 Tablespoon salt
Water
Frying oil
In a large pot, add pork skins and enough water to cover the skins. Bring to boil and cook for 30 minutes. Remove rinds from water and pat dry with a towel.
Heat oven to 300ºF. Spread out skins on a baking sheet and bake for about 3 hours. Remove and allow to cook.
Deep fry in 375º F hot oil until golden and crispy.
