Pisang Goreng Recipe
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon dark rum
4 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
2 cups oil for frying
In a large bowl, combine flour and sugar. Make a well in the middle, and pour in milk, egg, melted butter, vanilla extract, and rum. Mix until smooth. Fold in banana slices until evenly coated.
Heat oil deep-fryer to 375º F. Drop banana mixture by tablespoon into hot oil, work in small batches. Remove bananas from oil, and drain on paper towels. Serve hot. |
